Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English and French Language
Education: Candidates should have completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC)
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the securities industry or financial services sector

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidate should have the ability to work effectively as part of a team, demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and excellent time management skills

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should have strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • The candidate should have proven skills in providing world-class client service in a professional, warm, and friendly manner
  • The candidate should be bilingual in English and French, as they will regularly serve clients and work with RBC partners and employees across Canada who have English and French language
  • The candidate should have  and Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH), or be willing to successfully complete both courses within 12 months of the start date
  • The candidate should have knowledge of RBC Dominion Securities’ systems and procedures

Responsibilities:

  • The candidate should be able to professionally and efficiently service incoming telephone and email contacts from clients, advisors, and other internal and external partners
  • The candidate should be able to support Investment Advisors with general administrative duties in the management of client accounts
  • The candidate should be able to assist Investment Advisors in the preparation of client reviews and presentations
  • The candidate should be able to request information and documentation from clients to open accounts and maintain up-to-date client files
  • The candidate should be able to follow up on client trades to ensure proper settlement and delivery
  • The candidate should be able to monitor all pending transfers to ensure timely completion
