Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
Experience: Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience architecting and building large-scale cloud applications
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should possess a related technical discipline and have at least 4 years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, OR have equivalent experience
- The candidates should be able to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements for this role, including passing the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter
- The candidates should have experience developing test plans, test cases, test conditions, and scenarios to support application validation and platform infrastructure
- The candidates should demonstrate proficiency with cloud computing platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP, as well as experience with Kubernetes and distributed service presence
- The candidates should be familiar with Agile, Scrum, or Lean development methodologies
- The candidates should possess expertise in increasing operational efficiency through automation and in reducing operational expenditure
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to develop efficient validation logic and implement high-availability and resiliency patterns such as Circuit Breaker, Retry, and Fallback to ensure reliable and seamless service at scale
- The candidate should be able to collaborate with internal teams and industry stakeholders to align dependencies and create compelling user scenarios on the Teams platform
- The candidate should be able to design, develop, and deploy high-quality features with strong execution and deployment plans, driving innovation with a customer-centric approach
- The candidate should be able to provide technical leadership for strategic initiatives and guide the team to ensure excellence in technical execution and platform integration
- The candidate should be able to reuse and contribute to open-source libraries while establishing best practices for monitoring, troubleshooting, and operational excellence, own and operate services at massive scale
- The candidate should be able to perform live site and dev ops engineering with top-notch monitoring, well-maintained dashboards, and comprehensive troubleshooting guides
