Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience with ERP systems and quality systems, with SAP and Infinity

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should have the ability to lead continuous improvement, be results-oriented, and meet set objectives.
  • The candidates should be able to foster a strong quality culture that supports revolutionary change in line with business strategy
  • The candidates should be self-starters with a high level of integrity and maturity, and possess proven leadership skills, including mentoring
  • The candidates should have the ability to work well under pressure, particularly during crisis management

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be effective communicators, with excellent follow-up skills and comfort interacting with all levels of the organization, a solid understanding of GFSI requirements (FSSC 22000)
  • The candidates should demonstrate mastery of the principles of Statistical Process Control (SPC), HACCP, sanitation, analytical/microbiological testing, and hygienic design principles
  • The candidates should possess project management skills and a good command of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint tools

Responsibilities:

  • The candidate should be able to lead a team of quality professionals to implement effective quality and production strategies, collaborate with the corporate quality team and support functions to drive quality excellence programs focused on reducing consumer complaints and returns, and ensuring sanitation and regulatory compliance
  • The candidate should be able to apply quality tools such as RCFA, SPC, and Six Sigma methodologies Green Belt to improve product quality and performance
  • The candidate should be able to establish and lead the execution of key quality and food safety metrics aligned with plant and business priorities, drive team engagement through effective leadership, career development, and conflict resolution
  • The candidate should be able to build strong cross-functional relationships with plant leadership and production managers to ensure aligned implementation of quality initiatives, collaborate with corporate teams to support digital transformation initiatives, such as KHC Lighthouse and Factory/Lab of the Future
  • The candidate should be able to evaluate team performance and provide coaching, leadership training, and accountability, develop and maintain consistent work instructions and training to ensure operational consistency
  • The candidate should be able to maintain GMP, HACCP, and prerequisite programs, and support site Quality Managers during regulatory audits (e.g., FDA, USDA, CFIA), provide technical expertise and guidance on plant quality activities and initiatives
  • The candidate should be able to prepare for and participate in internal and external audits, ensuring all corrective and preventive actions are completed on time, proactively monitor KHC quality systems and data sources to identify and address potential risks
  • The candidate should be able to coordinate accurate and timely data recording within the department, engage regularly with line operators to train, mentor, and support skill development
