Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of Bachelor’s degree
Experience: Candidates should have 7 years of experience working in an audit or compliance role, assessing risks, testing controls and recommending process and controls improvements using industry best practices

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should have excellent communication and people management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across a wide range of departments

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess a CPA, CIA, CCEP, RIMS-CRMP, or a related certification experience in risk management, audit, or compliance programs within large organizations, particularly those with a sizable contingent workforce identifying and assessing risks, designing and testing controls, and developing risk, control, or compliance frameworks
  • The candidates should be able to navigate ambiguity and manage multiple project assignments simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, demonstrating ownership and accountability throughout the process
  • The candidates should demonstrate initiative in addressing problems and implementing continuous process improvements

Responsibilities:

  • The candidate should be able to assess regulatory risks associated with Google’s contingent workforce, including operational, legal, reputational, cultural, and financial risks
  • The candidate should be able to identify and map internal controls to regulatory or internal requirements and evaluate their effectiveness in ensuring compliance
  • The candidate should be able to identify control gaps and develop sound, balanced recommendations to enhance compliance in collaboration with management and risk stakeholders
  • The candidate should be able to monitor and validate the completion of business mitigation plans
  • The candidate should be able to advise process and control owners on designing effective controls that align with regulatory, policy, and operational needs, ensuring proportionality to identified risks
  • The candidate should be able to collaborate, communicate, and influence policy, process, and control owners across various levels of the organization to improve processes and reduce compliance risk
  • The candidate should be able to educate stakeholders on regulatory requirements and foster a culture of risk awareness and proactive compliance
