Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years industry experience shipping high-quality software
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have a related technical discipline and at least 4 years of technical engineering experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or possess equivalent experience
- The candidates should have at least 3 years of experience with networking protocols and architecture
- The candidates should be willing and able to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter
- The candidates should have one of the following educational and experience combinations, Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field with 8+ years of technical engineering experience coding in relevant languages, OR Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field with 6+ years of relevant technical engineering experience and OR equivalent experience
- The candidates should have at least 2 years of people management experience and possess proficient communication and collaboration skills
- The candidates should demonstrate proficiency in debugging, coding, testing, and problem-solving skills, a proficient understanding of systems software
- The candidates should be proficient in design and implementation using C#, Java, or C++
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to design and implement security features within the Windows networking stack to enhance network security
- The candidates should be able to conduct timely design and code reviews to ensure quality and security standards are met
- The candidates should be able to lead regular one-on-one meetings and team meetings to align on priorities and progress
- The candidates should be able to analyze and investigate customer cases related to core networking areas using tools such as logging, packet captures, and telemetry data
- The candidates should be able to deliver high-quality fixes and feature updates for defects and enhancements within the networking stack on schedule
- The candidates should be able to collaborate effectively with global teams during design and development activities
- The candidates should be able to continuously learn and stay current with networking standards and protocols to develop robust and innovative networking functionalities that meet customer
