Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of a Graduate Level Advanced Nursing Practice degree or a Nurse Practitioner
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of two years of Nurse Practitioner experience; however, new Nurse Practitioner graduates
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should possess Primary Health Care Diploma, be eligible to register as a Nurse Practitioner with the College and Association of Nurses of the Northwest Territories and Nunavut (CANNN)
- The candidate should have five years of recent Registered Nurse experience in an acute care setting
Benefits:
- The candidates will get Northern Allowance $8.20 – $22.25 per hour, depending on the community
- The candidates will get Service Allowance = $2.31 per hour
- The candidates will get Tiered Allowance = $10-15/hour
- The candidates will get Special Annual Allowance = $4.61- $10.00 per hour
