By facilitating property transactions and reinvesting profits into city programs, the branch drives urban development and reduces taxpayer burden. Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completed Grade 12
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible and diverse office experience
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should have strong attention to detail and the ability to perform tasks with a high degree of accuracy, handle confidential and sensitive information
- The candidate should have strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should have and an appropriate certificate program from an approved business college/post-secondary school or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- The candidate should have , including composing correspondence, word/data processing, taking meeting minutes, serving as a first point of contact, and providing administrative support
- The candidate should have certification related to office management or professional administration, strong written and verbal communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft and Google applications, POSSE, and SAP as required by the section
- The candidate should have knowledge and understanding of legislation, bylaws, procedures, and/or policies governing the business actions of the assigned area
- The candidate should be able to demonstrate initiative and resourcefulness, build and maintain positive relationships and strong partnerships with team members and branch staff, knowledge of municipal government processes
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to prepare schedules, agendas, minutes, and memos, organize meeting invites, locations, and documents required for meetings
- The candidates should be able to provide clerical services during meetings, perform data entry, formatting, and proofing of planning and policy documents, memorandums, letters, circulations, and similar materials
- The candidates should be able to prepare mail-out notices for land development applications, public meetings, public notices, or other documents, receive and enter all contract and account payable information into corporate systems as appropriate
- The candidates should be able to ensure accurate and timely entry of all contracts and accounts payable/receivable, manage workflow for the Director in relevant business applications such as POSSE, PeopleSoft
- The candidates should be able to assist with additional Section-wide clerical support duties, create paper and electronic files for Property Transactions and provide them to the appropriate Agent
- The candidates should be able to provide backup and support for other Administrative staff in the section and branch and perform other duties
