Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completed secondary education
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of two years of experience as a shipper/receiver in a logistics environment

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidate should be available to work Monday to Friday day shifts on a rotating schedule between 06:30 – 14:30 and 07:30 – 15:30
  • The candidate should be physically capable of lifting weights up to 50 lbs, push carts weighing up to 300 lbs

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should have preferably within a warehouse and inventory distribution setting
  • The candidate should have technical skills in using the Windows operating system, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • The candidate should have operating knowledge of warehouse inventory software; experience with SAP, working experience with inventory control processes, such as FIFO and/or FEFO
  • The candidate should have prior experience with online receiving, an equivalent combination of education and experience, which may be considered in lieu of the specified qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • The candidate should be able to receive, store, and organize consumables inventory items using knowledge and experience in a warehouse setting
  • The candidate should be able to retrieve and assemble consumables inventory items accurately and efficiently
  • The candidate should be able to distribute consumables inventory orders and finished product orders in a timely and organized manner
  • The candidate should be able to liaise effectively with various departments and internal customers by utilizing strong interpersonal and communication skills
