Salary: $18.00 to $22.00 hourly (to be negotiated) 20 to 40 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Flexible Hours, Early Morning, Morning, 09:00 to 17:30

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as college, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or mechanical engineering/mechanical technology/technician or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years’
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Credentials: Machinist Trade Certification, Tool and Die Maker Trade Certification, Machinist Red Seal Endorsment, Tool and Die Maker Red Seal Certificate
Asset languages: Mandarin
Measuring tools: Micrometers, Callipers, Verniers, Gauges
Equipment and machinery experience: Computer numerical control (CNC) machines, Conventional, Drill presses, Engine lathes, Filing machines, Milling machines, Sawing machine, Single purpose production machine, Surface grinders, Tapping machines, Tool grinders, Computer-aided design (CAD)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to in a fast-paced environment, and a repetitive tasker
- The candidates should be able to work in tight deadlines and with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to handle weight Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be accurate, dependable, initiative, and flexible
- The candidates should have excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables, repair machine tools and parts, set up and adjust production machineries/tools
- The candidates should be able to fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance, maintain, repair and calibrate precision measuring instruments, document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances, maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports
- The candidates should be able to verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers), compute dimensions and tolerances and measure and lay out work pieces
- The candidates should be able to set up, operate and maintain a variety of conventional and computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools
- The candidates should be able to verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments
