Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years’
Computer and technology knowledge: Point of sale system
Credentials: Serving It Right Certificate

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• The candidates should be able to stand, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods

Other Requirements:

• The candidate should be client focus, organized, initiative, flexible, and reliable
• The candidates should have excellent oral communication, efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages, prepare and serve specialty food at customers’ tables, advise on menu selections
• The candidates should be able to present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques or room billings, describe menu items including daily specials for customers
• The candidates should be able to balance cash and record sales, clear and clean tables, trays and chairs
• The candidates should be able to describe and advise on wine selection, greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages
• The candidates should be able to order and maintain inventory of wines and wine glassware
• The candidates should be able to perform sensory evaluation of wines, serve food and beverages, provide customer service
• The candidates should be able to take orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff, assist clients/guests with special needs
