Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Equipment and machinery experience: Farm truck

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• The candidates should be capable of handling heavy loads and performing physically demanding tasks
• The candidates should be comfortable standing for extended periods and performing tasks involving bending, crouching, and kneeling
• The candidates should be able to manage a large workload
• The candidates should be able to work outdoors in hot conditions
• The candidates should be capable of participating in the harvest of crops
• The candidates should have the ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to hand harvest vegetables, pick row and orchard crops, write daily basic progress reports, clean work areas, and sort and pack fruits and vegetables
• The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, and farm produce, livestock, and poultry
• The candidates should be able to plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops, operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, and fertilize and spray crops
• The candidates should be able to mix fertilizer
