Work setting: Apartment/condominium complex, Cleaning service company, Recreational facility/institution, Health care institution, facility or clinic, Hospital/medical facility or clinic, School or educational institution/establishment, and Shopping centre or mall

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots and Safety equipment/gear

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• The candidates should be capable of working effectively under pressure
• The candidates should be comfortable with handling repetitive tasks
• The candidates should be physically fit to manage tasks that are physically demanding
• The candidates should possess a high level of attention to detail

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, as well as dust furniture
• The candidates should be able to vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, and make beds while changing sheets
• The candidates should be able to distribute clean towels and toiletries, and stock the linen closet
• The candidates should be able to clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, as well as disinfect operating rooms and other areas
• The candidates should be able to clean and disinfect elevators, handle and report lost and found items, and attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items
• The candidates should be able to provide basic information on facilities, pick up debris, and empty trash containers
• The candidates should be able to wash windows, walls, and ceilings, and clean changing rooms and showers
• The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns, shop for food and household supplies, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• The candidates should be able to mend clothing and linens, launder clothing and household linens, and assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
