Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be 16 years or older
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should aim to create and maintain a secure and effective work environment for all customers, associates, visitors, and vendors
- The candidates should demonstrate positive and professional behavior at all times to foster a conducive atmosphere
- The candidates should work towards increasing profitability and mitigating shrink caused by financial and physical loss
- The candidates should posses Security Guard License
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to ensure store security by making daily patrols of the facility, validating doors, and showcases are secure and functioning properly
- The candidates should be able to make external arrests when necessary
- The candidates should be able to investigate instances of financial and physical shrink and communicate findings to Store Leadership, and in cases of an internal case matter, communicate to the Market Loss Prevention Manager first
- The candidates should be able to support store evacuation procedures in case of fire or other emergencies
- The candidates should be able to participate in store task team responsibilities as required
- The candidates should be able to conduct/support investigations as assigned, including, but not limited to, instances of internal theft and/or dishonesty, matters relating to external organized retail crime, and cases as assigned through Walmart Canada Global Ethics, in a timely and thorough manner and in accordance with Walmart Canada policies
- The candidates should be able to communicate information from different sources and effectively clarify issues for others, often presenting different perspectives
