Salary: $32.41 hourly for 40 hours per week

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Equipment and machinery experience: Power cutting tools, Hand tools, and Polishing machines

Physical Requirements:

The candidates should be physically capable of handling demanding tasks
The candidates should be able to perform tasks involving bending, crouching, and kneeling

Candidate Status:

Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

The candidates should be able to prepare, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered
The candidates should be able to set tiles in place and apply pressure to affix them to the base
The candidates should be able to align and straighten tiles
The candidates should be able to cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools
The candidates should be able to pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout
The candidates should be able to remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles
The candidates should be able to build under beds and install anchor bolts, wires, and brackets
The candidates should be able to cut, surface, polish, and install marble and granite
The candidates should be able to mix, lay, and polish terra surfaces
