Salary: $25.00 to $30.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 30 to 84 hours per week

Location: Humboldt, SK
Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Overtime, Flexible Hours, To be determined, Early Morning, Morning
Transportation information: Own transportation, valid driver’s licence, and public transportation is not available
Work setting: Rural area, remote location, and various locations

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years
Equipment and machinery experience: Combine harvester, haying equipment, lift truck, loader, seed drill, sprayer or duster, swather, tillage equipment, and tractor
Automated systems experience: Bulk grain or feed handling – automated
Security and safety: Steel-toed safety boots and gloves

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should have experience in hay, oilseed (except soybean), and other grain farming
• The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors, having experience in wheat farming
• The candidates should be tolerant of noisy working environments and able to work in dusty conditions
• The candidates should be adaptable to a fast-paced environment and comfortable with repetitive tasks
• The candidates should be capable of handling heavy loads in a physically demanding role, possessing hand-eye coordination
• The candidates should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, willing to work overtime when required, and prepared to handle a large workload

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should exhibit flexibility, be collaborative team players, and demonstrate reliability

Candidate Status:

• Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
• International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to harvest crops and operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
