Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 5 years or more

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be meticulous with a strong attention to detail and possess manual dexterity for various tasks
• The candidates should be experienced in handling heavy loads, demonstrating excellent hand-eye coordination, and thriving in a fast-paced environment
• The candidates should be adaptable to a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and physically capable of handling demanding tasks, including standing for extended periods
• The candidates should be able to work efficiently under pressure, be adept at meeting tight deadlines, and have experience with weight handling, up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should be known for their accuracy in completing tasks and exhibit excellent oral communication
• The candidates should be highly organized and effective team players, showing initiative in their work
• The candidates should have efficient interpersonal skills and showcase excellent written communication
• The candidates should have good judgment in decision-making and the ability to multitask effectively

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to troubleshoot and make minor adjustments to equipment, ensuring continuous and efficient operation, and weigh resins, colorants, and other chemicals with accuracy according to formulae
• The candidates should be able to monitor and inspect the quality of material produced, identifying and addressing deviations from quality standards, and place weighed materials in mixing machines for seamless blending of components
• The candidates should be able to unload the mixture into a container or conveyor for further processing, ensuring a smooth transition in the production line, and set up and operate calender machines to transform plastic bales or slabs into continuous sheets or films of specified thickness
• The candidates should be able to set up and operate extruding machines, extruding plastic compound through a nozzle or die to meet production requirements, and change dies on extruding machines for flexibility in manufacturing processes
• The candidates should be able to prepare and change molds, as well as adjust equipment for production line changes, facilitating smooth transitions between different product specifications
