Salary: $50.83 hourly for 32 to 44 hours per week

Work setting: Construction, commercial, institutional, and residential
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 to less than 5 yearsÂ
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be capable of handling physically demanding tasks and comfortable standing for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to perform bending, crouching, and kneeling as necessary for the role
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate reliability in their work
- The candidates should be team players, capable of collaborating effectively with others
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, structural tiles, or other masonry units, construct and install prefabricated masonry units, and read sketches and blueprints to calculate materials required
- The candidates should be able to lay bricks, stone, or similar materials to provide veneer facing, work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages, and cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools
- The candidates should be able to instruct apprentices, lay bricks or other masonry units to build residential or commercial chimneys and fireplaces, and restore, clean, or paint existing masonry structures
