Salary: $20.00 hourly for 40 to 60 hours per week

Work setting: Rural area and staff accommodation available
Type of crops: Artisanal crops, asparagus, bell peppers, cabbage, carrots, cauliflowers, cucumbers, field berries, garlic, melons, onions, soybeans, strawberries, sweet corn, tomatoes, and zucchinis
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have experience in fruit and vegetable combination farming and possess knowledge of organic farming practices
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to coordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting laborers, and oversee growing and other crop-related operations
- The candidates should be able to develop work schedules, establish procedures, and ensure farm safety and biosecurity procedures are followed
- The candidates should also be able to perform general farm duties, sort and pack fruits and vegetables, and grade products as necessary
