Salary: $18.00 to $19.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Chilliwack, BC
Shifts: Day, Early Morning, Morning
Supervision: No supervision responsibility

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Equipment and machinery experience: Industrial lift trucks and fork-lifts
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, gloves, and safety vest

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors and able to work in noisy environments
• The candidates should be able to perform repetitive tasks and be capable of handling heavy loads while being prepared for physically demanding work
• The candidates should be comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling, and able to stand for extended periods
• The candidates should have experience with weight handling and be able to lift more than 45 kg (100 lbs)

• The candidates should be hardworking, proactive, and quick learners with good time management skills
• The candidates should demonstrate dependability and show reliability

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment efficiently and safely, and operate a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products, following operational guidelines and safety procedures
• The candidates should be able to ship orders accurately and in a timely manner to meet customer requirements, sort, crate, and stack goods according to specified criteria to ensure proper handling and storage, and install, lash, and secure goods securely to prevent damage during transportation
• The candidates should be able to store cargo and materials in designated areas, considering factors such as weight, size, and accessibility, and organize and maintain inventory records accurately to facilitate efficient tracking and replenishment processes
