Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to perform repetitive tasks efficiently
- The candidates should be physically capable of handling demanding tasks and able to work effectively under pressure
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should prioritize client focus in their interactions and possess efficient interpersonal skills for effective communication
- The candidates should exhibit reliability in their work and be team players, capable of collaborating effectively with others
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, place dishes in the storage area, and sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand
- The candidates should be able to keep records of the quantities of food used, package take-out food, and portion and wrap foods
- The candidates should be able to prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs, and clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment
- The candidates should be able to receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas, remove kitchen garbage and trash, and sharpen kitchen knives
- The candidates should be able to wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit
