Salary: $20.00 to $30.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 30 to 60 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Weekend, Flexible Hours, Early Morning

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors and be able to work in wet or damp conditions
• The candidates should be able to work in noisy environments and be tolerant of various odors
• The candidates should be able to work in cold or refrigerated environments, in dusty conditions, and in hot environments

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to assist with landscape constructions effectively and tie plants or structures securely
• The candidates should be able to weed, prune, and trim trees and plants with precision, cut grass to the desired length, and rake and collect refuse from landscapes
• The candidates should be able to remove litter and garbage from outdoor areas, cart and spread topsoil and other materials as required, and lay sod or seed for lawn establishment
• The candidates should be able to plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees with care, apply fertilizers appropriately to enhance plant growth, and dig cemetery graves following established procedures
• The candidates should be able to repair and maintain equipment used in landscape maintenance, write daily basic progress reports accurately, and water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens according to their needs
• The candidates should be able to operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment proficiently and perform tree removal tasks safely and efficiently
