Salary: $22.00 to $23.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 30 to 40 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Evening, Shift, Flexible Hours, To be determined, Early Morning, Morning

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Construction specialization: Industrial, commercial and institutional, and Residential

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and be physically capable of handling demanding tasks
  • The candidates should be able to meet tight deadlines and be capable of performing repetitive tasks
  • The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads and weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills and demonstrate flexibility
  • The candidates should exhibit reliability and be team players

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from work sites safely and efficiently and mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt according to project specifications
  • The candidates should be able to assist medical examiners in charge as required, providing support and assistance in their duties, and assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites under supervision and following safety protocols
  • The candidates should be able to assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs as part of the construction process, and level earth to fine grade specifications to prepare surfaces for construction activities
  • The candidates should be able to pave and rake asphalt to create smooth and even surfaces on roads or other paved areas, and clean and pile salvaged materials for reuse or disposal
  • The candidates should be able to clean up chemical spills and other contaminants on construction sites to ensure a safe working environment, remove rubble and other debris at construction sites to maintain cleanliness and safety, and tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction to ensure proper operation and efficiency
