Service Canada is the program operated by Employment and Social Development Canada to serve as a single-point of access for the Government of Canada’s largest and most heavily used programs, such as the social insurance number, the Employment Insurance program, the Old Age Security program and the Canada Pension Plan. our centres also accept applications for Canadian passports. Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of more than one language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Computer and technology knowledge: Candidates must have knowledge of Electronic scheduler, Accounting software, Human resources software, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Word, MS Outlook and MS Windows

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidate should be able to work under pressure, in fast-paced environment, perform repetitive tasks, maintain tight deadlines and pay attention to detail

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be able to work with being focused on the client, in a flexible environment, in an organized way and also able to multitask
  • The candidate should be someone who can judge, dependable, reliable and also a team player
  • The candidate should have accuracy, efficient interpersonal skills, an excellent oral and written communication and also values and ethics

Responsibilities:

  • The candidate should be able to arrange and co-ordinate seminars, conferences, etc. and also record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars and conferences
  • The candidate should be able to determine and establish office procedures and routines, schedule and confirm appointments, order office supplies and maintain inventory, arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservation and also type and proofread correspondence, forms and other documents
  • The candidate should be able to answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages, answer electronic enquiries and also provide clients with information
  • The candidate should be able to compile data, statistics and other information, open and distribute regular and electronic incoming mail and other material and co-ordinate the flow of information, set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems and also verify accuracy and completeness of data
