Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as college, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year

Candidate Status:

  • Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
  • International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to arrange and co-ordinate seminars, conferences, etc., plan and control budget and expenditures, establish and implement policies and procedures, and train other workers
  • The candidates should be able to train, direct, and motivate staff, assign, co-ordinate, and review projects and programs, record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences, and determine and establish office procedures and routines
  • The candidates should be able to oversee the classification and rating of occupations, plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies, schedule and confirm appointments, and manage contracts
  • The candidates should be able to manage training and development strategies, answer telephone calls and relay messages, oversee the analysis of employee data and information, and answer electronic enquiries
  • The candidates should be able to oversee development of communication strategies, compile data, statistics, and other information, oversee the preparation of reports, and advise senior management
  • The candidates should be able to respond to employee questions and complaints, order office supplies and maintain inventory, liaise with management, union officials, and HR consultants, and negotiate collective agreements on behalf of employers or workers
  • The candidates should be able to organize and administer staff consultation and grievance procedures, oversee payroll administration, plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, and arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations
  • The candidates should be able to greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas, open and distribute regular and electronic incoming mail and other material and co-ordinate the flow of information, set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems, and type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents
