Job Description:

Position: Administrative assistant
No of Vacancies: 2
Salary: $26.50 hourly for 30 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: 8625 68 ST SE, Calgary, AB T2C 2R6
Shifts: Day, Shift, Morning


Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be adept at thriving in a fast-paced environment and be able to work under pressure, demonstrating resilience in challenging situations
  • The candidates should be accustomed to tight deadlines and efficiently meet them
  • The candidates should have experience in performing repetitive tasks efficiently and possess a strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in their work

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have the ability to multitask, efficiently managing multiple responsibilities concurrently
  • The candidates should be accurate in their work, ensuring precision and correctness
  • The candidates should demonstrate flexibility in adapting to changing work environments and tasks, and be highly organized, effectively managing tasks and maintaining a structured approach to their work
  • The candidates should exhibit reliability, consistently delivering quality work within established timelines, and be team players, collaborating seamlessly with colleagues to achieve common goals

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position


  • The candidates should be able to record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences
  • The candidates should be able to determine and establish office procedures and routines, schedule and confirm appointments, and answer the telephone while relaying calls and messages
  • The candidates should be able to answer electronic inquiries, compile data, statistics, and other information, and order office supplies while maintaining inventory
  • The candidates should be able to greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas, open and distribute regular and electronic incoming mail and other material, and coordinate the flow of information
  • The candidates should be able to set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems, as well as type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents
