Job Description:

Position: Administrative assistant
No of Vacancies: 2
Salary: $26.00 hourly for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Mississauga, ON
Shifts: Day, Shift


Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a College/CEGEP
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years
Area of specialization: Correspondence, Reports and records, Contracts, Financial statements, Invoices, and Charts, tables, graphs, and diagrams
Technical terminology: Business
Computer and technology knowledge: Google Docs, MS Excel, MS Windows, MS Word, Database software, Accounting software, and MS Office
Technical terminology: Business
Security and safety: Basic security clearance, and Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, meet tight deadlines, and work under pressure
  • The candidates should demonstrate attention to detail and be comfortable with repetitive tasks

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess excellent oral and written communication skills and demonstrate client focus
  • The candidates should be organized, accurate in their work, and exhibit reliability
  • The candidates should be able to multitask, show flexibility in their work approach, and be team players

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position


  • The candidates should be able to supervise and train other workers efficiently and effectively
  • The candidates should be able to accurately record minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences, and establish office procedures proficiently
  • The candidates should be able to schedule appointments promptly, answer telephone calls and electronic inquiries efficiently, and compile data accurately
  • The candidates should be able to order office supplies diligently, arrange travel and make reservations as required, and greet people warmly while directing them courteously
  • The candidates should be able to handle incoming mail systematically, coordinate information flow, and maintain effective filing systems
  • The candidates should be able to type and proofread documents accurately
