Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of a diploma in Business Administration or Office Administration
Experience: Candidates should have experience with office administration practices

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should have the ability to exchange information effectively and the ability to manage time and tasks
  • The candidates should have the ability to think critically and demonstrate professionalism

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have experience with purchasing practices and knowledge of office administrative practices
  • The candidates should have knowledge of purchasing practices and relationship-building skills

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to coordinate operations and services related to the Provincial Forest Fire Communications Centre, ensuring efficient and effective management
  • The candidates should be able to manage information and provide guidance to other staff members within the Provincial Forest Fire Communications Centre
  • The candidates should be able to liaise with departmental and divisional employees, offering program-specific advice on policies and procedures, and ensuring clear communication of information
  • The candidates should be able to assign files to employees, manage and maintain files, and ensure proper documentation practices
  • The candidates should be able to handle procurement tasks, assess financial requirements, and prepare and review reports for accuracy and completeness
  • The candidates should be able to maintain databases and perform other related administrative tasks as required to support the Communications Centre’s operations
