Supervision: 11-15 people
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years’
Equipment and machinery experience: Onion transplanter, Automated irrigation system, Milking system (automated, Vegetable or fruit harvester, Seed drill, Tractor
Area of specialization: Agricultural crop service, Cattle breeding
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, and be physically demanding
- The candidates should be able to do livestock combination farming
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to handle large workload
- The candidates should be able to work in outdoors, hot area, and dusty area
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be organized
- The candidates should be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizen and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position.
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to monitoring animal health, mixing fertilizer, lowering
- The candidates should be able to stone and/or wood picking, seed cutting, suckering
- The candidates should be able to maintain financial and production records
- The candidates should be able to provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting
- The candidates should be able to co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers
- The candidates should be able to maintain quality control and production records
- The candidates should be able to supervise and oversee breeding and other livestock-related programs, hire and train staff
