Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as other trades certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 years to less than 3 years
Credentials: AME «M» Licence – Aircraft
Security and safety: Criminal record check, Basic security clearance
Mechanical maintenance and repair specialization: Aircraft maintenance – general, Turbine engines
Aircraft experience: Small turbine helicopter, Medium turbine helicopter, Large turbine helicopters

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be physically demanding
  • The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
  • The candidates should be able to stand, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
  • The candidates should be able to handle Hand-eye co-ordination
  • The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be accurate, client focus, dependable, initiative, flexible, reliable, and judgmental
  • The candidates should have excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, and be able to work as a team player

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to inspect structural and mechanical systems of aircraft and ensure that these systems meet Transport Canada and company standards of performance and safety, maintain detailed repair, inspection and certification records and reports
  • The candidates should be able to troubleshoot aircraft structural, mechanical or hydraulic systems to identify problems and adjust and repair systems according to specifications, technical drawings, manuals and established procedures
  • The candidates should be able to inspect work of aircraft mechanics performing maintenance, repair and overhaul to ensure adherence to standards and procedures, repair and overhaul aircraft structural, mechanical or hydraulic systems
  • The candidates should be able to install or modify aircraft engines and mechanical, hydraulic, flight control, fuel and pneumatic systems, dismantle airframes, aircraft engines or other aircraft systems for repair, overhaul and cleaning, and reassemble
  • The candidates should be able to inspect work of aircraft mechanics performing modification of aircraft and aircraft mechanical systems to ensure adherence to standards and procedures, perform and document routine maintenance
  • The candidates should be able to interpret blueprints/specifications/standards and written technical instructions
  • The candidates should be able to order and maintain inventory of parts and supplies
