Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have a valid Alberta Class 5 Non GDL Driver License
Experience: Candidates should preferably have Ramp or Warehouse experience
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be available to work Tuesday to Friday starting at 6:50 am and Saturday starting at 7:30 am, for up to 5 hours per day
- The candidates should be able to work well with others and under minimal supervision
- The candidates should be capable of regularly lifting up to 70 lbs (32 kg) unassisted
- The candidates should be able to maneuver packages up to 150 lbs (68 kg) with assistance
- The candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding ramp and warehouse environment
- The candidates should be comfortable working in various frequently changing weather conditions
- The candidates should be comfortable working inside confined spaces in vehicles
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to clear a 5-year Extended Background Check
- The candidates should be in Possession of an Airport RAIC and D/A is considered an asset
- The candidates should possess good organizational and multi-tasking skills
- The candidates should be able to follow set and standard procedures
- The candidates must have reliable transportation
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to learn and properly execute the methods for working on the ramp and inside the warehouse
- The candidates should be able to unload and load UPS aircraft
- The candidates should be able to perform the responsibility of loading and unloading equipment and packages on UPS aircraft
- The candidates should be able to perform other tasks as assigned on the ramp and inside the warehouse in a fast-paced environment
