Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have Other trades certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Animal specialization: Domestic animals/pets (cats, kittens, puppies, dogs, etc.)
Area of specialization: Small animals
Credentials: Pet Grooming Certificate and Veterinary assistant course
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be recognized for their meticulous attention to detail across various job responsibilities, adept at working in a fast-paced environment, and managing tasks efficiently
- The candidates should be physically capable of handling demanding tasks, including the ability to lift heavy loads, proficient in activities such as bending, crouching, and kneeling as part of their regular duties
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods as required by the nature of the role, be prepared for repetitive tasks inherent to the job, and be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking during the course of their work
- The candidates should have the physical strength to handle loads exceeding 45 kg (100 lbs) as necessary for the role

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to perform bathing/shampooing, pet clipping, and styling for animals
- The candidates should be able to prepare food, feed animals, and administer anal glands treatment
- The candidates should be able to clean and disinfect cages, pens, aquariums, kennels, runs, stalls, and enclosures, assist animal breeders in handling and nurturing animals, and conduct ear cleaning, provide flea baths, perform nail clipping, and conduct teeth cleaning for animals
- The candidates should be able to monitor and document animal behavior
