Salary: $15.50 hourly for 40 to 60 hours per week
Employment Type: Full time, Seasonal employment
Location: Glen Huron, ON
Shifts: Day, Weekend, Overtime, Early Morning and Morning
Work setting: Rural area
Work site environment: Candidates should work in fruit and vegetable combination farming, dusty, hot and outdoors
Security and safety: Driver’s validity licence should checked
Transportation/travel information: Own vehicle required and valid driver’s licence required
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications such as a high school, bachelor’s degree, a certificate or a diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Type of crops: Apples
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work overtime, in fast-paced environment, stand for extended periods and also for bending, crouching, kneeling
- The candidate should be physically strong
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be a team player
- The candidate should be able to supervise 3-4 people
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able for budding trees, fruit trees training, hoeing crops and also suckering
- The candidate should be able to perform general farm duties
