Salary: $19.25 to $38.50 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 hours per week

Work setting: Construction, Service, Repair, Various locations, Maintenance, Commercial, Residential, Installation, Troubleshooting/diagnostic
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have Registered Apprenticeship certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Area of specialization: Emergency power system, Fire alarm system, Communications system, Lighting system
Equipment and machinery experience: Conventional electrical devices and Motors and controls
Own tools/equipment: Tools, Safety equipment/gear, Steel-toed safety boots and Hard hat
Credentials: Pre-apprenticeship training, Level one apprenticeship training, Level two apprenticeship training, Level three apprenticeship training, Level four apprenticeship training
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working at heights and thrive in a fast-paced work environment
- The candidates should be experienced in handling heavy loads and be physically fit to meet the demands of the job
- The candidates should demonstrate a strong attention to detail and be able to work under tight deadlines
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate professionalism in customer service
- The candidates should be able to install underground wiring and cables, install, replace, and repair electrical controls and panel boxes, and design and construct single-phase service for single or multimeter installations
- The candidates should be able to splice, join, and connect wires, design and construct low voltage (30 to 750V) multiphase service for single or multimeter installations, and test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults, and the integrity of circuits
- The candidates should be able to troubleshoot and isolate faults, connect power to audio and visual equipment, and install surface mount and/or overhead cables
- The candidates should be able to instruct apprentices, supervise other workers, ground and bond electrical equipment, systems, and structures, including swimming pools and hot tubs
- The candidates should be able to renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures and read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
