Salary: $22.50 hourly for 40 hours per week

Location: 3938 Morrish Church, Newtonville, ON L0A 1J0, Canada
Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Early Morning, Morning
Work setting: Private fish hatchery

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be comfortable working in wet or damp conditions

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to feed aquaculture stock
  • The candidates should be able to operate, maintain, and clean pumps, filters, and other aquaculture equipment
  • The candidates should be able to clean and maintain aquaculture enclosures
  • The candidates should be able to transfer stock to tanks in trucks and pack stock in special containers
  • The candidates should be able to clean, sort, and pack shellfish
  • The candidates should be able to grade and weigh aquaculture stocks
