Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English or French Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Inspection or testing specialization: Mechanical assemblies and subassemblies, Finished products
Credentials: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be physically demanding, and a repetitive tasker
  • The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
  • The candidates should be able to stand, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
  • The candidates should be able to handle weight Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • The candidates should be able to handle Hand-eye co-ordination
  • The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads
  • The candidates should be able to do manual dexterity
  • The candidates should be able to work in noisy area, hot area, and dusty area

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be organized, flexible, and reliable
  • The candidates should be able to work as a team player

Candidate Status:

  • Canadian citizen and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position.
  • International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to assemble mechanical parts into subassemblies
  • The candidates should be able to assemble, fit and install prefabricated parts to form subassemblies or finished products
  • The candidates should be able to position, align and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly
  • The candidates should be able to fasten parts together using fastening and joining equipment
  • The candidates should be able to read and interpret blueprints
  • The candidates should be able to check mechanical assemblies and subassemblies for alignment and proper functioning
