Salary: $19.50 to $20.50 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: 11602 – 257 Street, Acheson, AB T7X 6C3
Shifts: Day, 07:30 to 16:00
Transportation information: Own transportation
Work setting: Relocation costs covered by employer, warehouse, and waste recycling
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Equipment and machinery experience: Power tools
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working in dusty environments and able to work effectively in noisy environments
- The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and be prepared for physically demanding tasks
- The candidates should be proficient in handling repetitive tasks and demonstrate attention to detail in their work
- The candidates should be capable of handling heavy loads as required and be able to handle weights of up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- The candidates should possess hand-eye coordination skills
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate punctuality in their work and exhibit dependability in their responsibilities
- The candidates should possess excellent oral communication skills and be reliable in fulfilling their duties
- The candidates should be strong team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the plant manually or using powered equipment and assist machine operators, assemblers, and other workers
- The candidates should be able to sort, pack, crate, and package materials and products, perform other laboring and elemental activities, and clean machines and immediate work areas
