Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Equipment and machinery experience: conventional oven, electronic cash register, food dispensers, grill
Own tools/equipment: Own transportation
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, handle repetitive tasks, and stand for extended periods while working effectively under pressure
- The candidates should be able to uplift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should prioritize client focus and possess efficient interpersonal skills, reliability, and a positive attitude, while also being team players with the ability to multitask and demonstrate initiative and dependability
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs
- The candidates should be able to replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas
- The candidates should be able to keep records of the quantities of food used
- The candidates should be able to package take-out food
- The candidates should be able to portion and wrap foods
- The candidates should be able to prepare, heat, and finish simple food items
- The candidates should be able to serve customers at counters or buffet tables
- The candidates should be able to stock refrigerators and salad bars
- The candidates should be able to take customers’ orders
- The candidates should be able to clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment
- The candidates should be able to handle and store cleaning products
- The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
