Salary: $33.00 to $34.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 30 to 40 hours per week

Location: Vancouver, BC

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should thrive in a fast-paced work environment and exhibit a strong attention to detail
  • The candidates should be capable of meeting tight deadlines and able to work effectively under pressure

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills and excel in both oral and written communication
  • The candidates should be highly organized in their approach and effective team players
  • The candidates should be known for their accuracy in tasks and demonstrate interpersonal awareness
  • The candidates should be reliable in fulfilling their responsibilities

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to prepare and operate videotape recording and playback equipment and edit videotape after production
  • The candidates should be able to set up, prepare, operate, and adjust audio, recording, editing, and reproducing equipment to record, edit, and reproduce sound input
  • The candidates should be able to monitor the broadcast quality of live or taped radio and television programs and make emergency repairs to equipment
  • The candidates should be able to operate broadcast equipment to produce audio and video streaming broadcasts for the Internet
  • The candidates should be able to maintain, install, and troubleshoot a wide variety of broadcast hardware and software
