Transportation information: Valid driver’s licence

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 years to less than 5 years
Area of work experience: Body components, Doors and frame, Front end components, Interior components, Underbody components, Welding
Own tools/equipment: Tools, Steel-toed safety boots
Security and safety: Bondable, Criminal record check, Driving record check (abstract)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be physically demanding
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be client focus, dependable, initiative, flexible, reliable and judgmental
- The candidates should be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizen and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position.
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to professionalism in customer service, review damage report and estimates of repair cost and plan work to be performed
- The candidates should be able to clean and maintain work space, replace front end components, body components, doors and frame and underbody components
- The candidates should be able to file, grind and sand body surfaces to be repaired, hammer out dents, buckles and defects using blocks and hammers
- The candidates should be able to remove damaged fenders, panels and grills and bolt or weld replacement parts into place
- The candidates should be able to repair or replace interior components, inspect repaired vehicles and test drive vehicles for proper handling
- The candidates should be able to mix paint, blend and match colors
- The candidates should be able to operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents and seams
