Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to lift up to 70 lbs
• The candidates should be able and willing to work evening and/or night shifts
• The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced work environment

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should possess a valid Red Seal 310T or 310S license
• The candidates should possess essential trade tools and equipment
• The candidates should possess a clean driver’s abstract/record (must not be obtained more than a month ago before your interview date) showing
• The candidates should have no violations for the current year (last 12 months) and no more than 2 violations for the previous 3-year period (last 36 months)
• The candidates should have no accidents and a maximum of 5 demerit points for the previous 3-year period (last 36 months)
• The candidates should possess strong organizational and troubleshooting skills
• The candidates must pass a pre-employment road test
• The candidates should be able to work mainly indoors, in a warehouse or shop, with occasional outdoor work

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to perform inspection, repair, maintenance, and diagnostic tests on the UPS vehicle fleet as the Auto Technician
• The candidates should be able to repair, inspect, and maintain UPS diesel, propane, CNG, and gasoline vehicles regularly and in a timely manner
• The candidates should be able to operate and test company vehicles within UPS facilities and on public roads
• The candidates should be aware of being exposed to hot/cold temperatures when working outdoors
• The candidates should be willing to wear a UPS Auto Mechanic uniform and adhere to the company’s Appearance Guidelines
