Salary: $15.25 to $16.00 hourly (to be negotiated) for 35 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Overtime, Early Morning, Morning
Work setting: Employer’s home
Target audience: Supervise and care for multi-aged group of children
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the French Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure, be physically demanding, and a repetitive tasker
- The candidates should be willing to for overtime
- The candidates should be able to handle weight up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be client focus, organized, flexible, and judgmental
- The candidates should have excellent oral communication, efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, shop for food and household supplies, travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
- The candidates should be able to wash, iron and press clothing and household linens, care for pets, bathe, dress and feed infants and children
- The candidates should be able to discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children
- The candidates should be able to maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, organize, activities such as games and outings for children, prepare and serve nutritious meals
- The candidates should be able to prepare infants and children for rest periods, sterilize bottles, prepare formulas and change diapers for infants, supervise and care for children
- The candidates should be able to take children to and from school and to appointments, tend to emotional well-being of children
- The candidates should be able to help children with homework
