We have experienced employees who have established a devoted clientele through provision of fresh, home style baking and a selection of meat, cheeses, and prepared deli products. We are working two locations and serving bakery food all over Canada. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible. The position of Baker-Retail is approved by LMIA.

Shifts: Day, Weekend, To be determined, 09:00 to 17:00
Work Setting: In shop, Supermarket or bakery department
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English or French Language.
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates need an experience of 2-3 years
Supervision: 3-4 people
Food Specialties: Breads and rolls, Desserts and pastries, Bakery goods and desserts
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should have the ability to distinguish between colors and pay attention to detail
- The candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads
- The candidate should be physically demanding and perform repetitive tasks
- The candidate should be able to stand for extended periods and work with tight deadlines
- The candidate should be able to work under pressure
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be accurate and be someone who can be dependent on
- The candidate should have an excellent oral communication skills and be someone who can be relied on
- The candidate should be a team player
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies and cakes and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders also bake mixed dough and batters
- The candidate should be able to train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food also supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff
- The candidate should be able to train staff also ensure that the quality of products meets established standards
- The candidate should be able to inspect kitchen and food service areas also organize and maintain inventory
- The candidate should be able to prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
