Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Early Morning
Work setting: Supermarket/grocery store
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Area of specialization: Food and food products
Security and safety: Bondable
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling, and be accustomed to a fast-paced environment
- The candidates should be ready for physically demanding tasks, able to stand for extended periods, and capable of working under pressure
- The candidates should possess manual dexterity, attention to detail, and be able to handle weights up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

- The candidates should be adaptable, analytical, and demonstrate efficiency in their approach
- The candidates should be goal-oriented, hardworking, and possess integrity in their work
- The candidates should be outgoing, maintain a positive attitude, and be quick learners
- The candidates should demonstrate dependability, be highly organized, and reliable in meeting commitments
- The candidates should be team players, excel in oral and written communication skills, and perform tasks with accuracy
- The candidates should be dedicated to client focus, exercise good judgment, and be punctual in their work
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to provide advice about merchandise and assist in the display of merchandise
- The candidates should be able to greet customers, discuss the type, quality, and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental, or lease, and prepare merchandise for purchase, rental, or lease
- The candidates should be able to provide customer service and advertise and/or promote products, sales, or services
