Uptown Lounge based in Charlottetown, PE is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Bar service waiter/waitress. Uptown Lounge provides a curated drink menu, featuring signature cocktails, craft beers, and fine spirits. The bar’s modern and chic decor, paired with friendly and attentive staff, creates a welcoming setting for both casual meet-ups and celebratory evenings. The candidates selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Salary: $15.00 hourly for 24 to 40 hours per week

Location: Charlottetown, PE
Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend
Work setting: Restaurant, Pub, Hotel, motel, resort
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Credentials: Food and Beverage Server Training, Responsible Beverage Service Certificate, Food Safety Certificate
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have a strong client focus and possess efficient interpersonal skills
- The candidates should demonstrate excellent oral communication and be reliable
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages, enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation, and regulations
- The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns, describe menu items, including daily specials, and provide customer service
- The candidates should be able to present bills to customers, accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travelers cheques, or room billings, clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, and serve food and beverages
