Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have experience in layer poultry farming and be comfortable with odors and dusty conditions
- The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines
- The candidates should be comfortable with repetitive tasks, physically demanding work, and have attention to detail
- The candidates should have hand-eye coordination and the ability to distinguish between colors
- The candidates should be comfortable sitting and able to handle a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods, be comfortable with walking, and capable of bending, crouching, and kneeling
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills, be flexible, and have good judgment
- The candidates should be organized team players with excellent written communication
- The candidates should be reliable and quick learners
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to monitor animal health and set/monitor water lines, air flow, and temperature in barns, pens, and chicken coops
