Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to organize and set up the bar, perform short order cooking and food preparation, and clean the bar area and wash glassware
- The candidates should be able to serve food or snacks, clean the draft beer system, and advise on wine selection
- The candidates should be able to supervise food and beverage servers and other staff, inform customers regarding the contents of cocktails or other drinks, and collect cash, credit/debit cards, or other payment for beverages
- The candidates should be able to operate the cash register, record and balance beverage sales, and store beverage and food products
- The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns, take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons, and resolve conflict situations
