Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to work effectively under pressure, while also being comfortable standing for extended periods
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should prioritize client focus and possess efficient interpersonal skills and excellent oral communication, while also demonstrating initiative, being organized and reliable, and functioning effectively as team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to organize and set up the bar, clean the bar area, wash glassware, and advise on wine selection
- The candidates should be able to inform customers regarding the contents of cocktails or other drinks, collect payment for beverages, operate the cash register, and address customers’ complaints or concerns
- The candidates should be able to order bar stock, maintain inventory and control of bar stock, enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations, prepare mixed drinks, wine, draft or bottled beer, non-alcoholic beverages, and take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons
