Salary: $19.00 to $20.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 30 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Penticton, BC
Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Overtime
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have fast-paced environment
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should exhibit a strong focus on client needs, efficient interpersonal skills, and excellent oral communication abilities, while also demonstrating a collaborative approach as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to clean the bar area and wash glassware
- The candidates should be able to clean the draft beer system
- The candidates should be able to provide recommendations on drink selections
- The candidates should be able to collect cash, credit/debit cards, or other payment for beverages
- The candidates should be able to record and balance beverage sales
- The candidates should be able to store beverage and food products
- The candidates should be able to order bar stock and maintain inventory and control of bar stock
- The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns
- The candidates should be able to prepare mixed drinks, wine, draft or bottled beer, and non-alcoholic beverages
- The candidates should be able to take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons
