Supervision: 3-4 people
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years’
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, and be physically demanding
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be client focus, organized, initiative, and reliable
- The candidates should have excellent oral communication, efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to organize and set up bar, clean draft beer system, hire and dismiss staff
- The candidates should be able to advise on wine selection, supervise food and beverage servers and other staff
- The candidates should be able to inform customers regarding contents of cocktails or other drinks, schedule staff, train staff
- The candidates should be able to collect cash, credit/debit cards or other payment for beverages, operate cash register
- The candidates should be able to operate video lottery terminal, record and balance beverage sales, enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
- The candidates should be able to store beverage and food products, order bar stock and maintain inventory and control of bar stock, address customers’ complaints or concerns
- The candidates should be able to prepare mixed drinks, wine, draft or bottled beer and non-alcoholic beverages, take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons
