Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 years to less than 3 years
Equipment and machinery experience: Combine harvester, Tractor, Loader, Farm truck
Area of specialization: Agricultural livestock service, Agricultural crop service, Beef cattle
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, be physically demanding, and a repetitive tasker
- The candidates should be able to do beef cattle ranching and farming, including feedlots, and other miscellaneous crop farming
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to harvest crops
- The candidates should be able to work in tight deadlines
- The candidates should be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
- The candidates should be willing to for overtime
- The candidates should be able to handle weight Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads, and large workload
- The candidates should be able to work in noisy area, odours, outdoors, and dusty area
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be organized
- The candidates should be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to handling animals, monitoring animal health
- The candidates should be able to provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting
- The candidates should be able to carry out a pasture or pen breeding programs
- The candidates should be able to maintain livestock performance records, detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry
- The candidates should be able to maintain quality control and production records
- The candidates should be able to recognize and treat certain livestock health problems, maintain work records and logs
- The candidates should be able to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, perform general farm duties, feed and tend animals
